PARTNERING FOR SUCCESS

ASSOCIATE TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

EdWay Online is committed to partnering with law firms and in-house legal departments to develop educationally-based professional development and continuing legal education programs that facilitate the success of your attorneys. One of the most important tools in a young lawyer’s career is access to knowledge and training that will facilitate his or her professional development and ability to effectively and efficiently perform his or her role as a lawyer. One of the most effective methods is by watching other lawyers in action and ultimately by performing as a lawyer. It is often difficult for young lawyers to gain on-demand access to those who have the knowledge and experience they need to perform their legal work. As a result EdWay Online partners with you to develop from your in-house CLE programs on-demand Web-based instructional programs to provide lawyers with not only the knowledge but the access they need to be successful.

There are many vendors who offer a platform for live, videotaped programs to be viewed online by simply streaming media. EdWay Online is not that vendor. EdWay Online is a custom development partner who will work with you to:

v      Capture your content on digital video (or use your existing digital video)

v      Blend instructional design methodologies and pedagogy with your instructional materials, video, interactive questions, quizzes, and other designated educationally-defined goals and objectives based on the training and professional development needs of your attorneys

v      Design, Develop and Deliver high quality programs to produce excellence in legal content.

EdWay Online will work with you to identify the most critical areas for associate training and mentoring and then develop training programs so that an associate who needs access to a senior attorney’s or partner’s expertise can have a multimedia, interactive learning tool (in the form of video clips, integrated with audio, interactive text, model forms, research cite links, etc.) accessible through the firm intranet or through an independent URL.  These training programs can also be made available on DVD or CD-ROM for accessibility where there is no Internet access, such as in a conference room.

It would be our pleasure to arrange a conference call with you to discuss next steps. To arrange a conference call or a meeting please call us at 972.747.1487 or e-mail Katherine Pang, J.D., LL.M, M.Ed, our Founder and CEO at kpang@edway.com.
